From serving as the principal violist of the Soviet Émigré Orchestra to collaborating with jazz icon Ornette Coleman, performing at the Inauguration Ball of President R. Reagan, and spending two seasons with the Michigan Opera Theatre,
to presenting world premiere
of a Sonata for viola solo by O. Felzer at Carnegie Weiss Hall, and undertaking the recording of Bach’s six violin sonatas & partitas on viola, his five-decade musical journey spans a rich tapestry of genres and accomplishments.
